My USPSA
Area is:
Area 8
How I first got into shooting:
Last year my husband went to an IDPA match. I figured I could do this too ... pretty soon I fell in love with USPSA.
My preferred shooting
style:
Im not the fastest, so speed courses are not my forte ... I prefer a thinking stage with lots of steel!
Primary Sponsor(s):
Now accepting applications to fill this vacancy! :)
Why I like shooting USPSA matches:
It is an even playing field with the boys. It really comes down to what you can do, and how well you can plan and then execute that plan. I can compete with the guys and enjoy the challenge.
What I would additionally like you to know about me:
Shooting started as a fun sport that I didn't think I would take too seriously. I wanted to spend time with my husband and become proficient with a firearm in case I had to defend myself or my children. What I learned is that I am too competitive to be satisfied with just target practicing. I want to excel and be able to be competitive with the B and A class shooters. I realize it is a slow process, and finding time to practice is tough, but when I see myself improving, it is a great motivator!
My favorite USPSA event is:
I prefer the field courses, so the Area 8 Match was a blast!
