How I first got into shooting:
I shot when I was young, hunted with my dad and shot rabbits out of the cantaloupe fields. Then before the election last year I really started talking to my husband about shooting. He encouraged me and took me to the range on a regular basis. Then I saw the Babes with Bullets one evening on the Outdoor Channel, signed up for the class, and the rest is history. I applied for my CCW in CA last Nov. and got it right after the first of the year. In September on my birthday I applied for my NV, and Utah.
My preferred shooting
style:
I'm working on speed. Being acurate is very important to me. I like steel and high round count stages.
Primary Sponsor(s):
My husband, he cleans my gun and pretty much gets me anything I need for shooting.
Why I like shooting USPSA matches:
It's just a great group of people that are very encouraging!
What I would additionally like you to know about me:
I'm a beginner shooter, with high hopes and a lot of disciplne. My goal is to continue to improve everytime I'm at the range, and push myself a little bit harder at each match.
My favorite USPSA event is:
Since I've only shot in 2 (not including the practice match at camp), I would have to say the one I shot today. It was for charity and held in Oakdale CA. First time I ever shot the Texas Star. Wow that was hard!
