How I first got into shooting:
Tagged along with my husband to local IDPA matches, and saw how much fun he was having. Decided to "try" it out.
My preferred shooting
style:
Currently refining my style. Learning the game. I enjoy field courses - but my strengths are stages with limited movement.
Primary Sponsor(s):
My husband and my mother!
My National finishes among the Top 8 Women:
USPSA Single Stack Nationals - Top 8 Women - 2009
My most prestigious titles are:
2009 Area 8 Single Stack Ladies
2009 VA-MD Sectional High "D" Limited
Why I like shooting USPSA matches:
First off - the people are fantastic. I have met so many helpful, interesting, just plain nice people. I enjoy the activity, the action and the test of skills.
What I would additionally like you to know about me:
I started shooting in 2006, and joined USPSA in 2007. I've tried a few divisions, and a few guns, but feel I've found my home with Single Stack. My goal for 2010 would be to compete again in the Single Stack nationals, and refine my game to make me a more consistent competitor.
My favorite USPSA event is:
Area 8 2008. My first USPSA match - Exciting, challenging, new!
Additional Comments:

Shooting has provided an outlet for my competitive nature (I was a high school "jock"). My husband is my biggest supporter/fan/teammate, but there are others out there that have helped me out tremendously. If it wasn't for my husband and our friends, I would not have grown in shooting as much as I have. The support within the shooting community is amazing.
