What I would additionally like you to know about me:

As a female growing up in a small town in the south, I knew I would end up getting married and raising a family. Well, that did happen and more. To be able to shoot different firearms and get good at it,was one thing. But be able to travel doing that, was another. In 1984 after competing in local matches in the state, we had to stop shooting with the decline of the economy in our area. I went to work and raised my family.

In 2000, a steel match came to our attention that was being held locally. The equipment and guns that were now being used in competions had changed, especially concerning revolvers. Being strictly a revolver shooter before, I had to make some decissions. A good friend told me that I could become a good limited woman competitor or I could become a great, top woman revolver shooter. With that in mind, I had no problem deciding what I was going to do.

I was going after a dream that at that time, it was only a dream. Shot as much as I could and in 2004, I was told of a shooting camp for women being held at my good friend's range, Kay Clark Miculek. So I attended with my revolver. I was the only one there with a revolver at that. I soon learned that whatever the instructors presented to us, I could apply to using the revolver. After that, one dream after another were coming true.

At that camp I met yet another big influence on my way to meeting my goals, Julie Goloski. Believe it or not, prior to attending that camp, I knew nothing of her or her awesome abilities. She encouraged me to seek sponsorship in the following year and believed in my abilities as a revolver shooter. At this time, I am in my third year as a member of the great S&W Team.

With the help and the backing of my family and friends, so many goals and dreams have come true! Now I have set one more goal and that is to compete at a World Match as a revolver shooter!

My favorite USPSA event is:
International Revolver Championship (IRC) - because accuracy plays such a big part in revolver shooting.
Additional Comments:

I now play a big role in the shooting that takes place in my town. I am an officer of our USPSA / IPSC club. I assist in steel matches. I started ICORE matches in my area and am presently the secreatary on the BOD of ICORE. I am a Certified NROI Range Officer and an NRA Certified Handgun Instructor. I am also an instructor at the S&W sponsored Ladies' Action Shooting Camps.
